SO, YOU WANT TO MOODMAX...
Its not just about wearing more perfume. Let’s get into it.
SCENT LAYERING
Layering is wearing two fragrances at once.
Start with a fragrance you love, then decide what you want more of. Brighter? Add citrus. Warmer? Vanilla or amber. Deeper? Woods or oud. Fresher? Something green or aromatic.
Alternatively, find a note both fragrances share and build from there.
There are no rules. Trust your nose.
Two fragrances, one scent nobody else is wearing.
Our Layering recommendations
You know these fragrances. Just not like this.
We’ve tried and tested three combinations that take scents you already know somewhere completely different.
Dark made brighter. Gentlemanly given an edge. Gourmand turned richer and more sophisticated.
WHERE YOU APPLY, MATTERS.
Your pulse points are naturally warmer, making them prime real estate for fragrance. Apply perfume oil to the neck, wrists, inside the elbows and behind the knees.
But why stop there?
Our perfume oils are made with a fractionated coconut oil base, so you can apply them all over the body.
Formatting is key
You’ve been wearing the quiet version of your fragrance.
Add perfume oil underneath your spray and find out what it can really do.
More intensity. More staying power. More heads turning when you walk past.
The fragrance hasn’t changed. You’ve just stopped holding it back.
However, if you prefer your fragrance lighter and more intimate, stick to one format.

MOODMAXING is about presence. Our 10ml perfume oils and travel sprays make it easy to keep yours topped up wherever you are.
The beauty of oil is discretion. Roll it on anywhere without announcing it to the room. As it warms on the skin, the fragrance gradually makes itself known.
Want more, faster? Reach for the atomiser. Immediate projection and intensity in a few sprays.
Straight out the shower, on clean, warm skin, it grips better and projects more evenly. Moisturise first, or apply to skin that's already hydrated, because dry skin drinks scent and kills it faster. Give it a few minutes to settle before you dress, so it stays on you and not your shirt. And don't overspray in the morning to make it last. A quick top-up later does more than a heavy hand ever will.
The strongest concentration you can buy. More fragrance oil, less filler, so it lasts longer and sits closer to the skin than an eau de parfum or toilette. Everything MOOD makes is extrait. It's why a little does a lot, and why it's still there hours after everyone else's has gone quiet.
Usually your skin, not the fragrance. Dry skin drinks scent and burns through it fast, so moisturise first, or use an oil that grips and holds. Skin type changes how a fragrance wears too, which is why the same scent smells different on everyone. If it's fading by lunch, that's a longevity problem an oil and the right pulse points will fix.
No. Rubbing crushes the top notes and makes it fade faster, you're literally rubbing it off. Spray or dab, then leave it. Let your skin's warmth do the work. If you want it to move, layer an oil underneath instead of grinding it in.
It changes, slowly. Kept cool and out of sunlight, an extrait holds for years. Heat and light are what turn it, so keep it off the windowsill and out the bathroom. If the colour's gone dark or the top notes smell off, it's past it. Store it right and yours will outlast the trend that made everyone else buy theirs.
